Closing Down Information

After over 50 years in business, Ballentynes Fashion Central is closing.  On behalf of the Ballentyne family - including our incredible team of staff in the stores and in our warehouse, we would like to thank you for your support and shopping with us over the years.

Here what's you need to know:

SOME OF OUR STORES WILL CHANGE TO CAROLINE EVE STORES!  We are happy to announce that ten of our current locations will stay open – and become part of the Caroline Eve chain.  To find out more click here.

Our other stores will close down progressively over the next few months from 15 August 2026.  To find out more, check each store on our Store Locations page.

Gift Vouchers:  Gift vouchers may continue to be used in-store, and once these have closed you can contact BFC Head Office (see details below) to arrange purchases through our webshop.  BFC Gift Vouchers will be honoured at any stores which are being taking over by Caroline Eve for 6 months after handover.

Laybys:  All customers with outstanding laybys will be contacted regarding their purchases and given options for collection.

Afterpay & Zip: Afterpay Customers can keep using Afterpay to pay for goods, and use Zip for refunds until Zip closes on 12 October 2026.

Red Button Rewards:  All current RBR Rewards points will be honoured – however RBR rewards can only be redeemed at Ballentynes Fashion Central stores. Once a store closes, they can be redeemed at another BFC store or on the webshop. 

Credit notes:  All valid credit notes will be honoured. Once stores close Credit Notes will have to be refunded at BFC Head Office (see contact details below).

Exchanges:  Any BFC item can still be exchanged at a BFC store for an alternative item, until the store closes or is taken over by Caroline Eve.

Refunds & Return: Normal Ballentynes Fashion Central refund criteria still apply.  Once a store closes or is taken over by Caroline Eve, any faulty items may be returned to another BFC store or BFC Head Office (see contact details below).
